Happy Monday, human beings. I almost decided not to post anything today; my family received some shocking and scary news this afternoon. I wont go into details here on the blog. Instead let’s remind ourselves that the world is a wild and wonderful place. Here’s some inspiration and motivation if you’re in a tricky situation.
Ralph Waldo Emerson reminds us that every day can be a blessing. I woke up today, I was so glad!
Kurt Vonnegut helps us stay in the moment, even if the moment might not be stay with us. (From Slaughterhouse Five).
Abe Lincoln encourages us to be the best versions of ourselves.
Rumi reminds us that we embody limitless potential.
I simply cannot let a Monday pass without quoting Tom Robbins. Sometimes it’s important to assure yourself that: anywhere you go, there you are.
The world is big and marvelous and scary; enjoy your time in it. Your life is yours and no one else’s. Be strong, be brave, be compassionate with yourself and others. Have a wonderful week everybody!
